That’s the million dollar question. I am going to show you how to pick a market to sell in and walk you through the process I use to determine the right product to promote to the market.

The first thing you need to understand is that you want to pick a market not a product. It is much easier to sell someone something they already want then it is to try to convince them they want or need something.You need to find out what people already want to buy and then give it to them. It actually a pretty easy process.

So lets get started.

To find out what people are already buying you need to perform market research. Luckily, our friend Google can assist us in this task. One of the easiest way to find out what people are looking to buy we only need to find out what they are searching for on the internet. That’s where Google comes in, they keep a huge database of the keywords people use when they search for things using the search engine and Google gives us acess to that database through their Keyword Research Tool.

We can use this tool to figure out the search volume of different keywords people are using to find stuff on the internet. For example, if you want to find information on dog training you would most likely use the keyword “Dog Training” or “Dog Training Book” in Google to find what you are looking for.

By analyzing the search volume the keywords get in Google we can get a good idea of the size of a market and what they are looking to buy.
